#3 single territory nations are no longer capable of building and maintaining enormous armies they obviously can not afford.
generals no longer have to sit around and waste 5-10 years of their lives just to ensure public order! how unrealistic and historically inaccurate that feature was, Im so happy it has finally been abolished. this allows players to leave a small garrison behind at a recently conquered settlement to ensure order and stability, while the rest of the legion marches forward to carry out its intended conquest. whos idea was that? they should be fired! #2 individual units no longer require a general to be there to hold their hands while they navigate the campaign map. with one tern per year, we were given no time or opportunity to watch our generals seize their destiny and become the great and powerful champions they were meant to be! instead they would be old and useless within a measly 30 turns or less.
CA has finally decided to address several MAJOR complaints brought forward by the Total War community (the people responsible for keeping them in business and ultimately employment) over the past year! #1 they have finally put an end to the 1 turn per year nonsense that was preventing us from fully enjoying the grand campaign.
